Sappow's Archive Series Vol.1 (2018-2020) "I Told You Once Volume.1" will be released on March 5th, 2023. A Techno Album.

The archive series was decided to be released at the end of last year (2022), and production was underway. I completely reviewed the past sound source from 0 once, scraped off all unnecessary sounds, examined the necessary timbres, and made it very carefully until the finish. Since it was a rebuild of the past sound source, I expected that it would be possible to make it in a short time, but when I started working on it, I ended up digging up the roots and recreating it, which took almost the same amount of time and effort as making a new track.

However, the purpose of this release is to fully focus on the directionality of the sound in 2023, and although these are archives, they are completely reborn new tracks, and I really like the tone and feel of the sound. I was able to fill my time.

Also as the title suggests, this is Volume.1. We are currently planning to release up to Volume.3.

The techno songs I've made so far have various tastes, and Volume.1 focuses on hard and rather minimal stuff. It's not necessarily minimal in terms of genre, but it's relatively minimal, and at the same time, it's a boosted finish that collects and boosts dope tones. I think Volume.2 will be an archive that collects a little melodic stuff.

SappowのArchiveシリーズvol.1(2018-2020)である"I Told You Once Volume.1" を3/5にリリースいたします。

アーカイヴ・シリーズは昨年（2022）下旬にリリースを決定し、制作を進めていました。過去の音源を完全に一回０から見直して要らないサウンドは全てそぎ落とし、必要な音色を吟味した上で、仕上げまですごく丁寧に作りました。過去音源のリビルドだから短時間に作れるかなと予想していた部分がありましたが、とりかかると結局根っこの部分から掘り返して作り直すことになり、新曲を作るのとほとんど変わらないくらいの手間と時間がかかってしまいました。

とはいえ、このリリースの目的はサウンドの指向性を2023年に完全にフォーカスさせることであり、これらはアーカイヴとはいえ全く生まれ変わった新曲群なのであり、本当に好きな音色とサウンドの手触り感で1時間程度を埋め尽くすことができました。

またタイトルが示しているように、これはVolume.1です。現在Volume.3までリリースを予定しています。

これまでに作ったテクノ曲は様々なテイストのものがあり、Volume.1はハードでどちらかというとミニマルなものにフォーカスしています。ジャンル的に必ずしもミニマルとは言えないまでも相対的にミニマルなもの、そして同時にドープな音色のものを集めてブーストした仕上がりです。Volume.2は少しメロディックなものを集めたアーカイヴになると思います。
